He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph Rieu (Debbie), Mary Odom (Bob) and Sarah Pitman; and his children, Jeremy Madriz (Christina), Diana Bhagat (Manish), Arthur Rieu, Jr., Angie Hicks (Donald) and David Rieu. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
