With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melvin J Bargas of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Davenport, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 24, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Melvin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Melvin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pennyroyal Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
