Mary Elizabeth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Meta Hackman Frischie and Herman Frischie of Jackson County, Indiana.; and her husband Ward Whalin. She is survived by: her brother John; her sister-in-law Sue Frischie of Kentland, Indiana; her niece Stephanie Frischie (Kevin Tungesvick) of Anderson, Indiana; her nephew-in-law Kim; her friend Mary; and also, Scott Backus of Akron, Hayley and Aaron Backus.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Lutheran Church (6118 Crawfordsville Rd, Speedway, IN 46224). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
