She was predeceased by: her mother Francis Stephanie; her son James Ricks; and her brother Majorie Stephanie. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Jones (Herman Allen), Tycie Chatman, Lee Simpson and Orlando Simpson of Indianapolis; and her sisters, LeeAnn Simpson and Leedora Hampton (Tracy). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great -great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church (1204 W 14th St, Marion, IN 46953). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
