It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Virginia M. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lester and Geneva Gladys Ryan (Botts); her husbands, Charles E. Thompson and William O. Schreckengast; her son Charles E. Thompson II; and her granddaughter Naomi M. Thompson.
She is survived by: her son John E. Thompson (Deborah); her daughter-in-law Kathy Thompson; her grandchildren, Rebekah S. Franklin (Anthony), Jamie Thompson-Shawn (Eric), Vanessa Schreckengast (Jeremy) and Paige McGee (Ken); and her brothers, John Ryan (Barb) and Wayne Ryan. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home (1605 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
