He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Daeger and Rosemary Daeger (Graybiel); and his sister Joyce Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Benefield Daeger; his siblings, Joseph Daeger (Jerrie) and Janice Courtney (Garry); his stepchildren, Wendy Mathene, Shawn Harper and Heather Spieggieser; and his grandchildren, Brian, Ariel, Jordan and Austin. He is also survived by relatives, including nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Riley - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory (6107 S East St, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (535 E Edgewood Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227).
