She was predeceased by: her parents, Geneva D. Higgins Singer and James Rodger Singer; her husband William Paul "Bill" Underwood; her sister Stella Anne Wilson; and her brother-in-law Richard Stringfellow.
She is survived by: her son William Robert Underwood (Julia) of Fargo; her siblings, Johnetta Stringfellow of Plymouth, Brenda Spry (Walter) of Madison, Vickie Roper (Doug) of Paducah, Kentucky, Jim Singer (Robin) of Madison and Charles Singer (Rhonda) of Madison, Indiana; and her siblings-in-law, Patty Spencer (Charles) of Madison, Janice Lyon (Gary) of Madison, Indiana and Elbert Wilson of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Fairmount Cemetery.
