She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Louise Jones (Sloan) and Gilbert Arthur Jones Sr.; and her nephew Ahmad Fleece. She is survived by: her husband Harold James; her daughters, Marissa Brewer, Mia Brewer and Brandy (Rodney); her grandchildren, Jadyn, Jawaun Jr., Ja'Ceon and Nova; and her siblings, Terrasina Shropshire (Travis), Gilda Sloan-Perry (Stephan), Mattie M. Jones, Gilbert A. Jones Jr. and Jennifer Fleece. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Washington Park East (10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East (10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229).
