It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Orville Lynn Knisely of Churubusco, Indiana, who passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville A. Knisely and Mildred Knisely (Zumbrun); his wife Barbara Knisely; his sisters, Lavon Keirn and Becky Harris; his brother-in-law Argyle "Bud" Keirn; his stepparents, Edward Teusch and Jean Knisely; and his stepsister Maxine Lott.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Knisely (Irene) of Columbia City and Julia George (Michael) of Pandora, OH; his grandchildren, Jayma Hazelbaker (Logan) of Cincinnati, OH, Zachary George (Jacey) of Findlay, OH, Zubulon George (Emma) of Carey, OH and Madeline Marshall of Fort Wayne; his great grandchildren, Landon Hazelbaker and Maggie Hazelbaker; and his siblings, Shirley Mossberg (Steve) of Columbia City, Louise Custer of Kendallville and Richard Knisely of Pierceton, IN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home (600 Countryside Dr, Columbia City, IN 46725). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
