Though Rodney may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rodney touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Hofts and Lucille Hofts (Reinboth). He is survived by: his wife Jan (Hollar); his daughter Jiliene; his grandsons, Deonté and Emeric; and his sister Renee Steward (Michael) of Woodbine, MD.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Advent Evangelical Lutheran Church (11250 N Michigan Rd, Zionsville, IN 46077). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Advent Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rodney's memory.
