He was predeceased by: his sister Elaine Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Lorna "Starr" Comer of Greenwood; and his children, James W. Comer (Veronica) of Fishers, Mark Allen Comer (Kelly) of Greenwood, Jim Barnes (Jennifer) of Menomee, WI, Alan Barnes (Jill) of Noblesville and Kelly Hestand (Rick) of Bargersville. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
