He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. "Jack" Davis and Judith Davis (Daniels); his wife Mary L. Davis; his son Darren Davis; and his sister Brenda Newcomer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michele Barton (Jeff) of Columbia City, Shannon Ball (Tad Harris) of Columbia City and Tammy Hickenbottom (Obie) of Fort Wayne; his daughter-in-law Joni Davis of Columbia City; his stepdaughters, Sheryl Imbody of New Haven and Christina Sorg (Doug) of Fort Wayne; and his brother Jim Davis of Indianapolis. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
