With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Van of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on September 3, 2025 at the age of 40. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Henry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Henry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Emily Mawi; his children, Anthony Van and Esther Par; and his sisters, Duh Mawi and Tha Hlei Sui. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (535 E Edgewood Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
