She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Tavares and Adeline Tavares (Cordeiro); her siblings, Hazel Miyose and Manuel E. Tavares, Jr.; and her children-in-law, Stanley Eickhoff and Sarah Reuter.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Reuter of Poseyville, IN; her children, Janet Helfert (Eddie) of St. Wendel, IN, Peggy Eickhoff of Evansville, IN, Robin Satterly (Steve) of Indianapolis, IN and Matthew Reuter of St. Wendel, IN; and her grandchildren, Zachary, Jamey, Robert, Michael Helfert, Nicholas, Nathan, Noah, Nolan, Lily Eickhoff, Jessica, Carole Satterly and Raymond Reuter. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Browning Funeral Home (738 E Diamond Ave, Evansville, IN 47711). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
