With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lillian Patricia Etchison of Williamsport, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 7, 2025 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lillian departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lillian may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lillian leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Magdelene Wichtacz and Lawrence Pachciarz. She is survived by: her children, Polly Gorden (David) of Indianapolis and Burton Etchison (Suzi) of Williamsport; and her granddaughters, Carrie Gorden (Danny Ekhaus) of San Diego, CA and Claire Gorden of Chicago, IL..
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (444 E Main St, Danville, IL 61832). A Mass will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
