It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elmer H. Yoder of Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. S. Yoder and Annie Yoder (Borkholder); and his siblings, Katie H. Yoder, Fannie H. Yoder, Irene H. Yoder, Harley H. Yoder, Amos H. Yoder and Melvin H. Yoder.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Yoder of Elkhart; his daughter Stacie Gayheart (Scott) of Indianapolis; his stepchildren, Kathy Staten of California and Dennis Dandino (Andi) of Goshen; and his siblings, Mary Borkholder (Yoder) of Millersburg, IN, Laura McGinnis (Yoder) of Madison, IN and Marvin Yoder (Bertha) of Madison, IN.. He is also survived by two grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, and six step-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the High Dive Park (500 E Beardsley Ave, Elkhart, IN 46514).
