She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Heign and Evelyn Heign (Smith); her husband Richard Stonebraker; her grandson Ted Alan Stonebraker; her siblings, Nancy Kohlhoff and William Heign; and her nephew Todd William Heign.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Stonebraker, Jr. (Jill) of Fort Wayne, Roger Stonebraker (Cecilia) of Sullivan, Ben Stonebraker (Dana) of Kendallville and Jennifer Upchurch (John) of Pittsboro; her grandchildren, Travis Stonebraker of Sullivan, Matthew Stonebraker of Indianapolis, Sam Stonebraker (Amy) of Fort Wayne, Mollie York (Wes) of Fort Wayne, Amanda Hemmert (Jamison) of Plainfield, Megan Burkart (Brian) of Selma, John Tyler Upchurch of Indianapolis, Eric Upchurch of Jamestown, Laura Mack (Jonah) of Van Wert and Cara Walker (Jake) of Fort Wayne; and her great grandchildren, Elaine Hemmert, Cameron Hemmert, Emma Biner, Lily Biner, Amelia Stonebraker, Norah Hemmert, Eleanor Stonebraker, Iris Biner, Griffin Hemmert, Elijah York and Joseph Stonebraker.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church (301 S Oak St, Kendallville, IN 46755). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Preferred memorials are to St. John Lutheran Church.
