He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Sexton and Loretta Sexton; his siblings, Lillian Lucas, Curtis Sexton and Joyce Cassady; and his nephew John Sexton.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Dee Boots; his children, Michele Gwinn, Mathew Skot Sexton and Mitchell Grant Sexton (Miranda); his grandchildren, Sydney Sexton and Makenna Hanson; his great grandchild Alex Lawson; and his siblings, Harold Sexton, Jeneva Walters (William), Walter Sexton (Linda) and Sheila Issacs. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
