We are sad to announce that on September 7, 2025, at the age of 87, Gilbert Roy Halley of Fishers, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gilbert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Halley and Betty Halley. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Mark Halley (Terra) and Karen Gabbard (Darrell); his grandchildren, Ryan Hayes (Kaitlyn) and Megan Hayes; and his great grandchild Daniel Hayes. He is also survived by father and grandfather, rarely missing his children.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (416 S 4th St, Renton, WA 98057). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (5212 S 70th St, Tacoma, WA 98467).
