He is survived by: his mother Mary Louise Loy (Howard); his husband Donald Anthony Howell; his brothers, Chris Wayne Loy (Sonja), Jonathan Paul Nichols (Misty) and Jeffrey Allen Loy (Heather); and his siblings' children, Sierra, Austin, Malori, Taylor, Braxton, Bryson, Carter and Tammy.
