It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wesley M. DeVore of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roe DeVore and Effie DeVore (Hardin); and his daughter Paulina DeVore. He is survived by: his wife Florence M. DeVore (Layman); his sisters-in-law, Eilene Coomer (Jim), Catherine "Kitty" Smock (late Kenneth "Gene" Smock), Paula Campbell (late Tom Campbell) and Annette Mandrell (Kevin); and his pet Cassidy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Washington Park East (10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at the Washington Park East Cemetery (10612 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229).
