She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Burkhart and Edna Burkhart (Bollinger); her son Russell Cook; her siblings, Robert Burkhart, Larry Burkhart, Howard Burkhart, Dorothy Hanni and Rosella Steffen; and her half-brother Harry Bollinger.
She is survived by: her daughter Darlene Noel (Russell) of Indianapolis, Indiana; her daughter-in-law Becky Cook of Decatur, Indiana; her grandchildren, Mandy Heiser (Tony), Katie Adams (Joe), Robert Tonner (Patrycja) and Andrea Yount (Mason); her great grandchildren, Kevin Cook, Gabby Heiser, Matthew Heiser, Lidia Tonner and Nathan Tonner; and her close friend Leon Tonner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home- Decatur (520 N 2nd St, Decatur, IN 46733).
