She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Henderson and Leona Henderson; her husband Charles H. Adkins; her daughter Rosanna Lee Mundorf (Terry); her sons-in-law, Terry Mundorf and Steve Sopher; her grandson DJ Bowland; her siblings, Theora Baker, Kate Myers, Rose Mary Thompson, Clara Stevens, Barbara Perkins and James E. Henderson; and her brothers-in-law, Jim Perkins and Merrill Stevens.
She is survived by: her children, Charles H. Adkins, Jr. (Belinda), Freddie L. Adkins (Angie) and Stephanie E. Sopher (Steve); her grandchildren, April Childers (Dennis), David Bowland (DJ), Steven Sopher (Sue Ellen), Justin Adkins, Tiffany McBride (Phillip), Nathan Adkins (Raissa), Joshua Adkins (Nichole), Ethan Adkins (Brittany), Jose and Miguel Adkins; her great grandchildren, Lilly, Bella, Lulu and Oliver McBride; her grandchildren, Kain Sopher, Braiden, Mason, Carter Adkins, Jaya, Tristan and Iyana Adkins; and her close friend Linda of Illinois.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel (1341 N Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN 46952). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
