She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward Hunt and Anetta "Nettie" Hunt (Wood); her husband James Giffin; her siblings, Herbert Hunt, Ruth Hunt Taylor, Faith Hunt Reed, Cuba Hunt Siler, Pauline Hunt Naylor and Thelma Hunt Deal; and her daughters-in-law, Jackie Giffin and Debbie Giffin.
She is survived by: her children, Dannie, Jimmie Giffin and Cheryl Bookout (Bob); and her grandchildren, Stacey Campbell-Sweeting, Timothy Campbell, Pennie Calder, Jimmie Giffin, Jerrie Giffin, Jeff Worley and Laura Giffin. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
