He was predeceased by: his former wife Effie L. Hicks; his parents, Ansel E. Hicks and Viola H. Brooks; and his brothers, Robert Hicks and Malcolm Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Jill E. Hicks; and his children, Julie A. Link (Charles), David A. Hicks, Thomas M. Hicks (Holly), James A. Hicks (Shelly), Lucas T. Hicks (Cassandra) and Traci Michel (Jason).
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory - Mt. Pleasant Chapel (7901 W Co Rd 50 N, Muncie, IN 47304). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
