She was predeceased by: her parents, Jorge Benavente and Quintina Benavente. She is survived by: her husband Victor Estrada; her sons, Victor Estrada (Jessica), Nicholas Estrada and Alfredo Estrada (Leticia); her grandchildren, Sol, Little Victor, Alexander, Iris and Eva; and her siblings, Dr. Jorge Benavente (Nancy), Alfonso Benavente, Martha McDonald (Rory), Jose Benavente (Diana) and Theresa Ruelas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Fife Funeral Home (4201 Indianapolis Blvd, East Chicago, IN 46312). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at the Ridgelawn Cemetery (4401 W Ridge Rd, Gary, IN 46408).
