He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sims (Long); his son Eric Sims (Jennifer Hughes); his granddaughter Kayleigh Howell (Brandon); his great grandchildren, McCoy and Lainey Howell; and his siblings, Mike Sims (Margie), Greg Sims (Carol) and Angie Pugh.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Floral Park (425 N Holt Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46222). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Floral Park Cemetery (425 N Holt Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46222).
