He is survived by: his wife Sandra Smith of Geneva, IN; his children, Sheila Vanskyock (Robert) of Lynn, IN, Sonja McPherson of Decatur, IN, Sheryl Wheeler (Edward) of Decatur, IN, Cliff Smith, Jr. of Geneva, IN and Jimmy Smith of Indianapolis, IN; his brother Robert Pope (Vivian) of Florence, KY.; and his grandchildren, Shane Vanskyock of Winchester, IN, Danielle McPherson (Brett) of Decatur, IN, Kristi McPherson of Decatur, IN, Ryan McPherson of Houghton Lake, MI, Siearra Nutt (David) of Bluffton, IN, Jerod Eckrote of Saginaw, MI, Tina Murchland (Robert) of Houghton Lake, MI, Linsey Hoy (Jacob) of Hartford City, IN, Alexis Sedlmeyer (Joe) of Monroeville, IN, Kelsey Feuston (Dustin) of Portland, IN and Michaela Smith of Berne, IN.. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Downing & Glancy Funeral Home (100 Washington St, Geneva, IN 46740). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
