He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Earl and Verna "Tootsie" Johnson; his stepfather Alan Brown; and his stepson Alan Gross. He is survived by: his parents, Emma Brown and Gerald Fishburn (Betty) of Indianapolis, Indiana.; his wife Sharon Fishburn of North Vernon, Indiana; his daughters, Heedien Fishburn of North Vernon and Amanda Fishburn of Indianapolis, Indiana; his siblings, Jerry Fishburn of Indianapolis, Bob Fishburn (Renee) of Indianapolis, Traci Fishburn of Indianapolis and Jeff Fishburn (Laura) of Indianapolis; his stepdaughter Angie Johnson (Kevin); his grandchildren, Cody Johnson of Seymour, Indiana, Cheyenne Blevins (Adam) of Brownstown, Indiana and Anna Smith of Indianapolis; and his great grandchild Rhett Blevins of Brownstown, Indiana.. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service (115 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 19th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
