He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann McMannis; his children, Rhea Ann Annee (Louie), Michael A. Ray (Laurie), Joseph M. Ray (Michele) and Kathleen Art (James); his grandchildren, Louis Annee (Elizabeth), Marianne Sandefur (Nate), Michael Annee (Jessica), Monica McLaughlin (Mark), Salvator Ray, Gina Bayt (Paul), Sophia Ray, Allison Scott (Mitchell), Joseph Ray, Emily Ray, J. Preston Art, Lillian Art, Augustine Art and Francine Art; and his siblings, Diana Adams (Jimmy), Roseann Trivett (Lewis) and Michael J. Ray (Seana).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gh Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home (1605 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, June 24th 2026 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Barnabas Catholic Church (8300 Rahke Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46217).
