With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Johney VanZandt Jr. (Indianapolis, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2026 at the age of 66. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sue VanZandt and Johney VanZandt, Sr.; and his siblings, Harold, Bev and Debbie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Powell, Ashley Young and Brittany Young; his siblings, Ronnie, Patty and Peggy; and his grandchildren, Staci, Jordan, Tyler, Dawson, Kayden, James, Jayden and Amir. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (925 E Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227).
