He was predeceased by: his parents, Livingston Hegwood and Georgia Walters. He is survived by: his brother Tawan; his sister-in-law Melanie Walters; his grandmother Berniece Walters; and his aunts and uncles, Alice Hegwood, Patricia Rodriguez, Andrew "Pee-Wee" Wlaters, W. D. Walters, Jr., Vernon Walters (Lisa), Sylvester "Doc" Walters and Kelly Walters, Sr. (Jeanette). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
