He was predeceased by: his brothers, David Schnell and Gary Schnell. He is survived by: his wife Melody Goettsch; his children, Anna Ellis (Tom), Jennifer Fiebig (Fritz) and Jason Schnell (Laurie); his grandchildren, Jake, Sam, Zack Ellis, Grace and Lukas Fiebig; and his siblings, Marianne Stablein and Tom Schnell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rafferty Funeral Home (2111 1st Street A a, Moline, IL 61265, USA). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (2431 1st St, Coal Valley, IL 61240).
