With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gregory G. Peterson of Moline, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glenn Peterson and Zoe Ellen Peterson (Tindall); his wife Theresa Peterson; his children, Scott Peterson (Ann) of Rock Island, Blair Peterson (Chris Draper) of New York and Kerrie McGlaughlin (Richard) of Moline; his stepsons, Thomas Timmerman of Moline and Jonathan Timmerman (Tabitha) of Geneseo; his grandchildren, Danny Witt (Ashley), Katrina Witt, Michael Witt (Brittany Snyder), Cora and Kenna Timmerman; his sister Dr. Donna Forbes (Larry) of Duluth, Minnesota; and his nieces, Jennifer Cline and Megan Forbes. He was also cherished by many great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Rock Island National Cemetery (1600 River Dr, Moline, IL 61265). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Friend Circle Club (701 18th Ave, Moline, IL 61265).
Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Greg's memory.
