He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert O. Baker, and Margaret Baker, Sr. (Curtiss); his son Tarry "TJ" Baker; and his great grandchild Phillip Creamer. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Thomas; and his children, Angela (Mike Sneath), Dennis Baker (Stephanie), Shawn Baker (Teresa), Robert "Rob" Baker, Tonya McLane (Mike), Tammy Baker and Becky Baker. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Stead Family Children's Hospital at the University of Iowa.
