He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Mattison and Grace Mattison (Giles); his wife Kay; his granddaughter Annie Buhl; his sister Nancy Gage; and his brothers-in-law, Herbert Schol and Arden Gage.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Mattison (Kathy) and Sarah Buhl (Mickey); his grandchildren, Samuel, Chloe and Robinson; and his sister Jeannine Schol. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
