She was predeceased by: her parents, John Halen and Violet Halen; her husband Robert Twiton; her parents-in-law, Russell and Dora Twiton; her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Twiton, Mary and Robert Bosben; and her son-in-law Paul Bower.
She is survived by: her children, Beth (Randy Janssen) of Trempealeau, Barb Bower of Minneapolis and Minn; her grandchildren, Erik Janssen, Matt Bower (Melanie Lombard), Halen Bower, Hannah Twiton, Thomas Twiton (Cheyenne), Joshua Henderson and Jacob Henderson; her great grandchildren, Miriam and Gabriel Swedlund-Twiton; her daughters, Yukiko Katsumata of Tokyo and Maria Janicki (Jim) of Hickory, N. C.; and her grandchildren, Manabu Katsumata and Emily Janicki. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Evangelical Lutheran Church (315 E Main St, Mt Horeb, WI 53572). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to ELCA World Hunger or Lutheran Disaster Response.
