She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Redeker and Bessie Redeker (Alsum); her husband George Smedema; her daughter Dawn Patrick; her grandson Logan Smedema; her sisters, Irene Heeringa (Louis), Leona Cupery (Harold) and Odeline TerBorg (George); and her siblings-in-law, Beatrice Wiersma (John), Annabelle DeVries (John), Cynthia Redeker and Ben Smedema (Phyllis).
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Smedema, Douglas Smedema (Debbie), Keith Smedema (Melinda) and Brian Smedema (Wendy); her grandchildren, Lucus, Adam Smedema (Susan), Ryan Smedema (Michele), Miranda Smedema, Katie, Daniel Smedema (Margaret), Weston Patrick (Monica), Taylor Patrick (Morgan), Mackenzie Waterworth (Trevor), Brenna and Keyne Smedema; her son-in-law Dale Patrick; her brother Harold Redeker; and her brother-in-law Curtis Smedema (Jessie). She is also survived by six great grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Reformed Church (406 S High St, Randolph, WI 53956). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
