He is survived by: his sons, Terry Phillips (Cheryl Wells) of McFarland and Wayne Phillips (Marla) of Ottawa, Ill.; his grandchildren, Callie Phillips, Chelsea Rupp (Anthony), Brandon Phillips (Carin) and Austin Phillips; his great grandchildren, Emma, Cameron Rupp and Alvina Phillips; and his siblings, Lois Powell, June Weber and Authur Phillips (Helen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lutheran Church (7564 Cottage Grove Rd, Madison, WI 53718). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (3054 County Hwy N, Cottage Grove, WI 53527). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:01 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Lutheran Church (7564 Cottage Grove Rd, Madison, WI 53718).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Badger Honor Flight, American Legion Post No. 348 and Children's Miracle Network.
