He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip H. Kress and Josephine Kress; his grandparents, Lyall, Vera Wright, Philip E. and Vera Kress; and his sister-in-law Susie Kress.
He is survived by: his wife Suellen Kress; his children, Georgia Kress, Lyall Kress (Melissa), Christina Kress (Josh Christianson), Brian Northup (Haiyang), Joseph Kress (Courtney), Peder Kress (Amanda) and Katie Sparks (Christopher); his siblings, Jeff Kress and Vera Kress; and his uncle Tom Kress (Karen). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (319 W Main St, Sparta, WI 54656).
