He is survived by: his wife Jane Schwoerer of Sturgeon Bay; his children, Amy Phillips (David) of Sturgeon Bay and John Schwoerer (Jessica) of Madison; his grandchildren, Mikkel, Riel, Rafael Phillips, Matthew and Lily Schwoerer; his siblings, Charles Schwoerer (Lois) of Cottage Grove, Donald Schwoerer (Barbara) of Mt. Horeb, Luann Esser of Mt. Vernon, WI, Ben Schwoerer (Lynn) of New Glarus and Mary Ann Evans of Lone Rock, WI; his sister-in-law Barbara J. Schwoerer of Verona; and his extended family, Mary Ann Delehanty (Jim) of Cross Plains, Lynn Rohowetz (Jim) of Dodgeville and Jerry Haas (Ginny) of Cobb, WI..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A wake will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Parish Wake Service (1414 Michigan St, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (110 N 5th Ave, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Joseph Parish or St. Joseph Conference of St. Vincent de Paul.
