It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leone Olson of Independence, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leone Olson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Olson; her children, Steven Matchey and Stacey Matchey; and her granddaughter Alexandra Joern. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Joern, Sue Pronschinske (Neil) and Brenda Sonsalla (Francis); her daughter-in-law Shannon Matchey; her grandchildren, Carl Joern (Lindsey), Erin Carr (Evan), Kyle (Natalie), Eric, Shawna, Lee Pronschinske, Andrew (Grace), Michael Sonsalla and Shylin Matchey; and her great grandchildren, Brooks, Piper, Beckett Joern, Oliver, Lorelei Pronschinske and Arthur Sonsalla.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calendar Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church (36028 Osseo Rd, Independence, WI 54747). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the S. S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (36028 Osseo Rd, Independence, WI 54747).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. A donation in Leone's honor will be made to the PCCW for the kitchen restoration.
