With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vernon Edgar Storm (Rhinelander, Wisconsin), born in Merrill, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2025 at the age of 94. He is survived by: his brother Gerald Storm (Marilyn Storm); his wife Marilyn Dootson; his son Jonathan Storm; his nephews, Tom and Tim Storm; his daughters, Sheila and Anita; his stepchildren, Kathy and Ted Dootson; and also, Sue (Eric Chan), Liz Dootson of Appleton, WI, Mary Scheidegger (Jay) of Kingman, AZ, Kathy Brenwall (Dale) of Suring, WI and Ted Dootson (April Platt) of Appleton, WI.. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church (160 N Brown St, Rhinelander, WI 54501).
