He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael B. and Mary A. Kerkman; his siblings, Genevieve Brustman (Harold), Geraldine Schenning, Michael and Roman Kerkman (Renata); his siblings-in-law, Robert Ziccarelli, Donald Pulera, William Klein and Lorna Kerkman; and his in-laws, Lloyd Weis (Betty) and John Weis (Jack).
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Koenen (James), Sandra Weber (Michael) and Karen Schmalfeldt (Donald); his wife Joan Weis; his grandchildren, Kyle Koenen (Ashley), Nicholas Koenen (Jennifer Hoaglund), Lucas Koenen (Victoria Johnston), Jacob Weber, Adam Weber (McKenzie), Abby Bellavia (Matthew) and Jenna Schmalfeldt (Noah Lindner); his siblings, Joan Ziccarelli, Ken Kerkman, Judy Klein and Janice Koons (John); and his siblings-in-law, Gordon Schenning, Fran Kerkman, Marie Weis, Larry Weis, Joseph, Kay Weis, Mary J., Norman Kerkman and Chris Kerkman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home (625 Browns Lake Dr, Burlington, WI 53105). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (108 McHenry St, Burlington, WI 53105). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Mary Catholic Church.
