He was predeceased by: his parents, George Blake and Marie Blake; his children, Michael Blake, Julie Parron (Blake), Robert Blake and Teri Motiff; his siblings, Donald Blake, Gerald Blake and Karen Blake; his mother-in-law Helen Young; his brother-in-law Dale VanHoosen; and his grandson Ryan Giefer.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Blake (Motiff); his children, Christine Blake, Debra Blake Syring (Gene), Steven Motiff (Julie), Mark Motiff (Cheryl) and John Motiff (Brooke); his grandchildren, Jesse Syring (Christopher), Danny Fournier, Marty Syring (Jessica), Amanda Fournier (Brian), Mckenzie Komorowski, Kathryn Blake, Matt Motiff (Melanie), Stephanie Chheang (Lynn), Heidi Silverthorn (Addison), Taylor Motiff, Ashlyn Motiff, Whitney Multerer (Adam), Hunter Motiff, Rachel Giefer, Taylor Joski (Luke) and Jordan Giefer; his sister Joan VanHoosen (Blake); and his siblings-in-law, Phil Young (Sue), Richard Young (Mary), Dennis Young (CJ), Jeff Young (Nancy), Nancy Blake and Judy Blake. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St John the Baptist Catholic Church (2597 Glendale Ave, Howard, WI 54313). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In-lieu of flowers, the family will be making donations to organizations that George was a part of.
