He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard Zabel and Myrtle Zabel (Au); and his niece Lori Singer. He is survived by: his wife Nola Miller of Fort Atkinson; his sons, Dale Zabel (Sondra) of Warren, IN and Steven Zabel (Renee) of Columbia City, IN; his granddaughters, Taylor Zabel and Jennifer Burkhalter (Aaron); and his sisters, Patricia Zabel of Jefferson and Carole Amacher (Ken) of Trempealeau, WI.. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 3 great, great-grandchildren.
