He was predeceased by: his parents, Berger "Jerry" Lund and Susan Lund (Zuba); his brother Arthur Lund; and his niece Dana Suleski (Gauerke). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Lund; his children, Jon Lund (Mary Wright) and Karen Thomas (Scott); his grandchildren, Alexander Thomas, Madison Thomas, Hazel Lund and Leo Lund; his sister Susan Gauerke (John); and his sibling's children, Steve Gauerke (Danette), Karin Sorensen (Scott) and Tom Lund.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the CDT Christ Lutheran Church (220 S Main St, DeForest, WI 53532). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Christ Lutheran Church or the Salvation Army in David's name.
