He was predeceased by: his parents, Josef Black and Antoinette Black (Paulsen); and his son Randy Black. He is survived by: his wife Mary Heideman; his children, Ronda Hitz (David) and Russell Black (Tricia); his grandchildren, Reis Hitz, Scott Black (Brittany Bark), Lauren Hitz and Melinda Black; his great grandchildren, Riley, Salinda and Sawyer Pellerin; and his sisters-in-law, Cherylin Smith and Deb Millar.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gunderson Stoughton Funeral & Cremation Care (1358 US-51, Stoughton, WI 53589). The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the same location.
