He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Godin and Florence Godin (Bricko); his son Paul; and his siblings, William Godin, Robert Godin, Mona Schaar and Shirley Moderson.
He is survived by: his wife DeAnna Konkol of Florian's Catholic Church; his children, Randy Godin (Renee), Timothy Godin (Cherie) and Ronda Godin-Fletcher; his grandchildren, Kyle Godin, Eric Godin, Jenna Godin, Alex Godin, Evelyn Fletcher and Dalton Fletcher; and his sister Sandy Linke. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home (401 W College Ave, Wittenberg, WI 54499). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. William Catholic Church (202 N Ellms St, Wittenberg, WI 54499).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in James' name to St. Isadore Council #7008 Knights of Columbus.
