She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Mergenthaler and Mabel Mergenthaler (Myers); her brother Jerry Mergenthaler; and her husband Earl D. Haines Jr.. She is survived by : her children, LuAnn Sokol (Tony) and Lee Haines; her granddaughter Emily Sokol; and her great grandchildren, Layton, Gracey Roberts and Maddie Roberts.
